Heavenly Valley is the largest resort in the Lake Tahoe area. Only Squaw Valley boasts more lifts and marked trails, but Heavenly has Squaw beat in every other measure, it is higher, more vertical drop, more acreage, and longer runs, plus the casinos and unbeatable night life at State Line, Nevada.

The mountain straddles the border between California and Nevada at the South tip of Lake Tahoe, with three entry points, one in South Lake Tahoe, California and the other two over the Kingsbury Grade in Nevada.
